Capstone Corporation Management Analyst in Suffolk, Virginia

Capstone Corporation is seeking a Management Analyst to support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) at the Joint Staff J7 / Deputy Directorate Joint Training (JS J7 / DDJT). The JTSE Program includes legacy Joint, Live, Virtual, Constructive (JLVC) simulation federation sustainment as well as modernization efforts to support test, evaluation, and deployment of new capabilities for training. This environment requires a full range of application design, development, and maintenance support. The Management Analyst will provide operations service desk support to include tracking event trouble reports and software trouble reports. This position is located on government site at JS J7 in Suffolk, VA.

Positions will be filled upon contract award.

  • Provides operations service desk support to include tracking event trouble reports and software trouble reports.

  • Provides service at the common point of contact at a help desk to support questions concerning software changes, modifications, and functional improvements to upgrade previous, existing, new JLVC and Joint Training (JT) tool software and integrate the changed, modified, or improved capabilities with other JT simulations, devices, programs, and processes.

  • Monitors and tracks Event Trouble Reports (ETR), Software Change Proposals (SCP) and Software Trouble Reports (STR) through customer approved centralized database, currently ClearQuest.

  • Supports User Guide development for each application describing how users will utilize the tool.

  • Develops, analyzes, and/or improves the effectiveness of work methods and procedures.

Minimum education and years of experience:

  • High school diploma

  • One (1) year experience related to service desk support.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Background tracking event and software trouble tickets.

  • Familiarity with help desk requirements.

  • Familiarity with ClearQuest or similar database.

Clearance requirement:

  • Final DoD Secret clearance

  • BA/BS Degree.

  • Experience supporting of military and/or government customers.

  • Familiarity with software/application design and development.
