Strategic Planning Manager Location: United States
This position reports to the Group Retiree Solutions (GRS) Director of Strategic Initiatives. We are looking for a unique skill set of Medicare business strategy knowledge along with project management experience, to join our entrepreneurial team. Prefer someone that lives in an area that enables you to work at an Anthem office, however work from home is available if not near an Anthem office.
The Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for/ /supportingGroup Retiree Solutionsto prioritize and expedite strategic initiatives and gather and examine external trends that impact the Group Retiree Solutions business segment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:· Support Group Retiree business plan and strategies for both new and existing business · Monitor external trends and analyze data to support optimal growth strategies · Lead & influence large multi-disciplined groups · Analyze current and projected product lines to determine optimal business strategy · Consolidate data, analyses and recommendations into concise business plans · Develop and implement project plans · Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, defines critical success factors
- Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education andexperience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Project management skills with experience leading and directing project tasks highly preferred.PMP Certified preferred. -Knowledge of CMS guidance for Medicare Advantage as well as group sponsored business, is preferred.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Knowledge of Anthem systems a plus: GBD Facets, Central Facets, WGS, CS90
